The official programme wraps up at 3.30pm, though when it’s sunny people often linger !
We’re delighted to have a brilliant range of local groups and organisations joining us this year and we know many more will join as we go. For instance, Lundin Bowling Club are throwing open their doors, and their bar, with food, baking, and a generous shared space that other groups are welcome to use, plus disabled access toilets and a wheelchair on site. Homelands Trust-Fife will be running activities and workshops, bringing baking and a tombola, and also providing accessible toilet facilities. The Largo Heritage Group will have a tent full of Alexander Selkirk information, and there will be pennant and flag making at the Crusoe before the parade. Largo Beach Wheelchairs, a brand new group, will have a stall on the Common with beach wheelchairs, and will be out in force recruiting volunteers, so go and say hello if you’d like to get involved. Largo Cricket Club will be running a stall and activities, and the Rotary Club of Leven are bringing games and their own gazebo. The RDA will have a games stall and lots of stories about their amazing organisation. The LCT Greenways Subgroup and Largo & Newburn Horticulture will both have information stalls and be there for chats about what they are up to.
More groups are being confirmed as their plans come together, do check back soon for the full picture.
