We manage all membership information in line with GDPR.
Types of Membership
Largo Communities Together offers three categories:
Ordinary Membership
For individuals who:
• are aged 16+
• live within the Largo Area Community Council boundary
• are eligible to vote in local government elections in that area
• support the aims and activities of LCT
Ordinary Members have full voting rights at members’ meetings.
Associate Membership
For individuals aged 16+ who live outside the area but support the work of LCT.
(Non-voting)
Junior Membership
For young people aged 12–15 who support our aims.
(Non-voting and residency is not required)
Community Definition
“Community” refers to those living within the Largo Area Community Council boundary.

The Trustees of LCT oversee membership processes to ensure they follow our constitution.

Our Growing Membership
We’re proud to have over 400 members already – but we’d love to see that number grow. The more members we have, the more representative, resilient, and effective we can be as a community-led charity.
Ways to Get Involved
There are so many ways to support your local area – whether you’ve got time to offer regularly or just want to dip in when you can. You could get involved in:
Citizen science and coastal environment work with Friends of Largo Bay
Community resilience and warm spaces programmes supporting wellbeing and connection
Pathways, access and active travel – helping people move more easily around our villages and green spaces
Heritage – exploring and celebrating our shared local stories and identities
Funding and fundraising – helping sustain and grow our work
Administration and governance – keeping things running behind the scenes
Communications and community engagement – sharing stories and connecting people
Project and business planning – shaping new ideas for the area
Infrastructure and local improvements
